We will be limiting the facility to singular room events each hour with a max of 20 clients and 3 team members at any given time.. we are also limiting the number of available escape rooms (per hour) Down to 2.\
We will not do the same room back to back to ensure ample time for even more cleaning than usual in the escape rooms between events.
There will be no #TeamUp events (where different groups join together) for the immediate future to ensure the comfort and safety of all families and clients.
Events will begin as soon as all parties have arrived. Clients may plan to arrive up to 15 minutes prior, as usual, to get checked in, wash their hands, and lock up personal items before the event start time.
Clients will use hand sanitizer upon entering the building and once again immediately prior to entering the escape rooms.
Checking in (signing waivers) will now be through clients using their own devices and a QR code provided in the lobby.
Decor and extra nonessential pieces have been minimized in each escape room to reduce contact surfaces.
All excess decor, masks, and lobby puzzles have been removed to lessen the amount of items touched and sanitizing needs between groups.
Selfies will still be taken but without the props which are typically highly touched items.
Blindfolds will not be used for the time being.
For winning groups, winner bands will be laid out individually and sanitized for clients to pickup. Similarly, stickers and “how to get your photo” cards will be set out in the lobby at individual chairs to keep from clients having to touch a shared pile.
All items in the lobby will be sanitized between groups.
We are actively looking into getting a “fogger machine” for sanitizing. However, we already have acquired antibacterial spray and wipes for sanitation in the meantime.
Extra signage is posted, pointing out our existing sanitizing stations and restrooms for hand washing.
Prior to exiting the building, all items touched by a staff member must be sanitized and ready for the next shift.
We have taped off a section at the enterance as well as in each escape room marking what 6 feet looks like, for reference.
To enter the escape rooms, clients will follow staff (with 6 ft social distancing) into the room and stand on the opposite side of the room until the countdown is complete and the game begins.
In the lobby, the intro station has a “SAFE ZONE” taped off for our team to operate within while clients are in the staging area. We will ask that clients not enter the YELLOW BOX.
The payment station has been extended to allow for 6 ft between staff and clients. To keep social distancing, we will not be accepting cash and clients will have direct access to the card reader. (Contactless payments)
Seating has been massively limited in the lobby to ensure easy social distancing and accommodate our adjusted group sizes.
A list of symptoms and requirement to not enter if you have had or have been around anyone who has had Covid-19 in the last 14 days will be posted at the front door.
FACE MASKS REQUIRED (optional in your escape room)
We have added a COMMUNITY MINDED (COVID-19) table to the entry. This table is 6 feet away from the office where our staff will greet clients. Instructions for entering the facility, reminders for masks, sanitizer, and the temperature checks will be made at this station prior to entering the main facility. Additional Covid-19 information is available here from the CDC website for general public health knowledge.
POST THE ESCAPE
We will request all clients wash their hands prior to leaving their 5 star reviews. :)
